Residents can drop off recyclables such as plastic, aluminum, and paper at no cost. However, household garbage is charged per bag, and special Lyndon Station–labeled bags (sold at the Recycle Center) are required.

Recent upgrades have improved the site, including a new gate, fencing, and signage.

The Village is also requiring its own departments to sort waste and use the Recycle Center as part of its recycling program. Officials expect that if more residents use the facility, operating hours may be expanded.
